Information about linked travel arrangements
In some cases, a so-called ‘linked travel arrangement’ may be created after you have made a booking with us. If your booked travel service is part of a linked travel arrangement, you have already received parts of the below information in your booking confirmation. Linked travel arrangements
If, after selecting and paying for one travel service, you book additional travel services for your trip or holiday via our company/Gotogate Flights Ltd, you will NOT benefit from rights applying to packages under Directive (EU) 2015/2302. Therefore, our company/Gotogate Flights Ltd will not be responsible for the proper performance of the individual travel services. In case of problems please contact the relevant service provider. However, if you book additional travel services via booking confirmation links not later than 24 hours after receiving the confirmation of the booking from our company/Gotogate Flights Ltd, those travel services will become part of a linked travel arrangement. In that case Gotogate Flights Ltd has, as required by EU law, protection in place to refund your payments to Gotogate Flights Ltd for services not performed because of Gotogate Flights Ltd's insolvency. Please note that this does not provide a refund in the event of the insolvency of the relevant service provider.
Gotogate Flights Ltd has taken out insolvency protection with Gar-Bo Försäkring AB (Ringvägen 100, 118 60 Stockholm, Sverige). Travellers may contact this entity or, where applicable, the competent authority (Kammarkollegiet, Birger Jarlsgatan 16, 114 34 Stockholm, 08-700 08 00, registratur@kammarkollegiet.se) if the services are denied because of Gotogate Flights Ltd’s insolvency.
Note: This insolvency protection does not cover contracts with parties other than Gotogate Flights Ltd, which can be performed despite Gotogate Flights Ltd's insolvency.
